Forestville MD is located in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area. This city is part of Prince George’s County and has a population of around 13,000 people. Many residents commute into Washington D.C. or the Northern Virginia area to work. Northern Virginia is considered one of the best places to live in the United States. These super-suburbs are mostly located west of the capital and include Ashburn, Reston, Leesburg, and Herndon. The economy in this area is mostly dependent on the federal government. Employment is often working for the government or working for contractors and companies which provide support to the government. Living in Forestville MD provides easy access to employment opportunities.
